Mountain View Art & Wine Festival September 10-11

Silicon Valley’s iconic art and wine festival is back for another year the weekend after Labor Day, on September 10-11.  The cool Mountain View street festival is famous for bringing in exceptional vendors selling anything from food to art to unique crafts.  Stellar live music blasts the streets throughout the weekend.  There will be festive drinks and premium wines, microbrews, mojitos, margaritas, and more.  There will also be a great organic and green products showcase, health and wellness displays, home and garden exhibits, a 9/11 commemorative ceremony, a fun kids park, body art, and many more exciting attractions.

Downtown Mountain View will become the Bay Area’s place to be that weekend!  Bands from all sorts of genres will perform, such as Off The Record, Bump City, and The Groove Kings.  U2 cover band Zoo Station will perform, as well as The Department of Rock.  Various musicians will cover the streets as well.  There will be wearable art, fine art, sculptures, different forms of media, and functional art.  Food will be from all over the world, from Oriental to BBQ to Thai to tamales to pizza to various tasty desserts!  For those sports lovers not wanting to miss the opening week of the NFL season or their favorite college football games, the Comcast Pigskin Party Lounge will be the perfect spot for you to watch all the action live on a giant LED screen!

While you’re strolling around, checking out the fun activities, and sampling new foods and beverages, let your kids enjoy the Kids’ Park made just for them!  The park is perfect for children of all ages and includes a 24-foot climbing wall, carnival rides, body art, and even a special NASA exhibit.  The friendly staff and fun selection of kids’ attractions has kept families coming back year after year to check out the great family entertainment all weekend long.
