If you are staying in Silicon Valley hotels this September, be sure to check out the 41st annual Mountain View Art & Wine Festival! 600 professional artists and craftspeople will be showing their wares at the festival. With many different exhibits and displays, live music, food and drinks, you’ll be able to use all of your senses all weekend!
Artists will have handcrafted ceramics, fiber, glass, fine art, jewelry, leather, metal, paper, sculpture and wood for sale. Everything from clocks to vests and waterfalls will be available. 14 bands will be playing tunes ranging from Motown, flamenco, disco and much more. The lineup includes The Groove Kings, Department of Rock, Natasha James, Kaweh and many more.
The Kid’s Park is full of fun for kids! There will be hands-on art booths, a 24-foor climbing wall, body art, balloon twisters, gold fish toss, race cars, hula hooping, Froghopper, carnival rides, a bounce house and a Tidal wave slide. After a two year hiatus, The Community Stage in Kid’s Park is back with a line-up of young entertainers. Performers include a drill team, talent band, hula-hoopers, dancers, martial arts and many more!
There will be a Comcast Pigskin Party Lounge at the Festival this year. As the festival is happening on opening weekend for the NFL season, guests will be able to watch their favorite sporting events on a giant LED screen while enjoying a tasty microbrew, glass of wine or sangria.
You also have the chance to speak out on television at the Festival! KMVT Community Television will have a booth on Church and Castro Street where you can talk on camera on any topic of your choice for 1-2 minutes. You will also receive a FREE customized DVD of your commentary. Don’t miss this amazing weekend event in the Silicon Valley!
