If you get the chance to see a concert in the Shoreline Amphitheatre, don’t miss out. The venue to an event can make an unimaginable difference to its success or failure. It is what guests remember the most clearly, and any issues regarding facilities or layout will have a strong impact on detracting from their enjoyment. The Shoreline Amphitheatre exceeds all expectations: a sizeable venue, able to hold 22,000 audience members, it was built between 1985-86 and has become one of the most popular venues in the California Bay area. If you will be at one of the hotels in Silicon Valley, be sure to check out an event!
Since it opened, the Shoreline Amphitheatre has been host to events including festivals, concerts and comedy – including the 4th of July celebrations, Mayhem Festival, Lollapalooza and Ozzfest. Its fixed seating is laid out in such a way to extend the stage, giving an ‘up close and personal’ view to guests in those area, whilst lawn seats have just as good an experience with energy flowing from performer to their crowd. Large television screens make sure that guests further back in the lawn area still have a perfect view of the action. No cans or bottles are allowed into the amphitheatre, with the exception of sealed water bottles, but for some evening performances guests are allowed to bring blankets and wrap up to enjoy their night.
In the coming weeks, some incredible acts are performing at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. September 14 th and 15th is a weekend for the Rock the Bells festival, bringing over forty acts and performances together with surprise guests to showcase the very best in hip hop and live music. On September 26th, none other than Depeche Mode will be live in concert, impressing audiences with their unique sound. Launched in 2010, the Beyond Wonderland weekend event returns on the 28-29th September, where a real audio and sensory adventure awaits, featuring the finest in theatrical performance, acrobatics and costuming alongside lights and special effects and the very best in electronic dance music.
