Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum is known for great country pop songs and beautiful harmonization from the two lead singers. Some stand out songs includes “Need You Now” and “Just a Kiss.” The group formed in Nashville, Tennessee back in 2006. Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley are lead vocals, while Dave Haywood is background vocals as well as the main musician for the guitar, piano, and mandolin. In 2008, they were signed with Capitol Records and released their single, “Love Don’t Live Here”, which made it all the way to #3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Their first album entitled, Lady Antebellum, went platinum and included the single, “Lookin’ for a Good Time” which made it all the way to #1. Their latest album, Golden, was formed while the group was on tour.

Opening for Lady Antebellum is country artist and songwriter David Nail. Originally from Missouri, David found himself being drawn to the world of music and soon dropped aspirations of being a baseball player to pursue a music career instead. After moving to Nashville and being overwhelmed by the city, he returned to Missouri, but still feeling the itch of country music calling, he returned to Nashville to try it again. The second time around proved successful as he signed with MCA Nashville in 2007. His two hits, “Turning Home” and “Red Light”, both made it to the Top 20 list in Billboard’s Country chart.
