Halloween Events In Mountain View

With September nearly over, it is time for October, which of course means cool weather and eventually, Halloween! For many, Halloween is a favorite holiday that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Here are some fun Halloween events that will be taking place in Mountain View.

Leading up to Halloween, there will be an exciting event for kids of all ages. On Friday, October 28th, head over to the Community Center at Rengstorff Park. From 4-6:15pm there will be fun outdoor activities to be enjoyed such as photo stations, games, craft opportunities, games, and light refreshments. Wearing costumes is highly encouraged! Afterward, from 6:30pm-8pm there will be an outdoor screening of Hotel Transylvania 2. Come down to Rengstorff and don’t miss out on all the FREE fun. If you are looking for something a little scarier, then Halloween Haunt at California’s Great America is just the thing for you. At Halloween Haunt, make your way through horrifying mazes and see if you can survive monsters and creatures that are waiting for you in the scare zones located throughout the park! Join the historic, Rengstorff House for a spooky, all-new event. Where History Meets Haunting Presents: Inventions and Imaginations. At this event, you can come to the Rengstorff House and explore the incredible inventions of the 19th century, all with a haunted Steampunk twist! This interactive haunted house attraction is truly unlike any you’ve ever experienced! This event will take place on Saturday, October 22nd, Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th. On all these dates, tickets are available from 6:30pm-10pm.

On October 31st, bring your kids to downtown for a safe and exciting trick-or-treating experience. From1-3pm, kids can go trick-or-treating at participating businesses all along Castro Street. Children 12 and under can get dressed up in their costumes and visit stores to receive festive treats! Simply look for window signs that state whether or not the business is participating in the fun! All along the way, Castro Street will be decorated in the Halloween theme!
